A few weeks ago, I was walking around Berlin for the first time in my life, and, as expected, I developed a huge crush on this city.
There is a similar energy in Berlin that somewhat reminds me of my hometown of Montreal.
Maybe it's the perfect amount of street art which makes it look like a beautiful clusterfuck of eccentricity or simply the ease we can feel emanating from the people walking by. At no point did I feel uneasy or in "danger." This may sound weird as an example of similarities between the two cities. Still, as a girl walking alone in any big city, this kind of experience is important to notice and very valuable when we get to experience it.
Charmed by Berlin's eccentricity, I walked around for hours, knowing there would be so much more to discover the next time I visited. Looking back on what was shot with my phone, I realize I was so busy soaking in the vibes that I forgot to take more photos for the internet.
It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's just not very "influencer" of me.
By the way, I hate that term, but that's what I used to have to write on my tax return, which always made me cringe a little because... what does being an "influencer" even mean anyway?
Anyhow, here's some of Berliner's street art, which I hope you will find inspiring. May these images help you dream and travel from the comfort of your couch.
Next time, I'll shoot more pics. ❤️
